We've hit a plan limit
What the limit messages mean and the two ways to get past them.
When a team reaches one of its plan's limits, Waypoint refuses the one action that would go over it and tells you which limit it is. Nothing already on the team is affected.
What the messages mean
| You see | It means |
|---|---|
| The plan covers a number of projects and the team has used all of them | The team has as many projects as the plan allows. |
| The plan covers a number of members and the team is using all of them | Members plus pending invitations equal the plan's member limit. |
| This upload needs more than the team has left on the plan | The upload would take the team past its storage allowance. The message says how much space is left. |
Free up room
- Projects: delete a project that is finished. Its slot is free immediately.
- Members: cancel pending invitations you no longer need, or remove people who have moved on. Both free a seat straight away.
- Storage: delete files you no longer need from drives, replies, chat, comments or events. The team settings page shows how much is in use.
Or move up a plan
The team owner can upgrade in a minute from the billing page: Settings, then Teams, the team, then Manage billing. The new limits apply as soon as payment goes through. See Upgrading and changing plans.
