Pricing

In every plan

The plans differ in room, not in features

A five-person team on Free works the same way as a company on Pro. What you pay for is how many projects, people and files the team can hold.

Every tool in every project
Message boards, task boards, chat, a calendar and a drive come with each project on every plan.
One flat price per team
Not per person. Add staff, contractors and clients without watching the bill climb.
Mentions and notifications
When someone needs a person, that person hears about it, on every plan.
A calendar for the whole team
Every project's dates on one calendar, so clashes show up before they cost you.
Phone and desk, light and dark
Checking in from the road works the same as checking in from the office.
Works with your AI assistant
Connect Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or VS Code and let it read boards, post updates and move work along, on every plan.
Change or cancel any time
Move between plans from the team's billing page. No contracts, no calls to cancel.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about what you pay, what you get and what happens when things change. If you have a different one, the team is happy to talk it through once you have signed up.

Do we need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan gives a team one project, up to five people and five gigabytes of files for as long as you like. You only add a card when you decide the team needs more room.
What counts as a project?
A project is one piece of work with its own tools: a client engagement, a product launch, an internal initiative. When a project is finished and you delete it, that slot is free for the next one.
Who counts as a team member?
Everyone with a seat on your team, whether they are staff, a contractor or a client you have brought in. An invitation holds a seat until it is accepted or expires, so plan for the people you intend to invite, not just the ones already in.
Is the price per person?
No. Each plan is one flat price for the whole team, billed monthly or yearly. Adding people never changes the amount; you only move up a plan when the team needs more seats than its plan allows.
What happens when we reach a limit?
Nothing is lost. Waypoint tells you the moment a new project, invitation or upload would go over the plan, and the work already there stays exactly as it is. Free up room by removing what you no longer need, or upgrade in a minute from the team's billing page.
Can our AI assistant use Waypoint?
Yes, on every plan. Waypoint is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, ChatGPT and any other client that supports remote MCP servers can connect. Each person connects their own assistant by signing in with their Waypoint account, and it can only see and change what they can. There is nothing extra to pay and no key to manage.
Can we change or cancel later?
Yes. Move up or down a plan whenever you like; a move down has to fit the projects, people and files the team already has. If you cancel, the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, then the team returns to Free with everything intact.
Is yearly billing cheaper?
Yes. A year on any paid plan costs the same as 10 months of monthly billing, so the other 2 are free. It is also one invoice a year instead of twelve, which many finance teams prefer.
How is payment handled, and who can see it?
Payments go through Stripe, and card details never touch our servers. Receipts go to the team owner, and only the owner can see or change the team's plan, so nobody else on the team can alter what you are paying.
