Deleting your account

You can delete your Waypoint account yourself from the Profile page. It is permanent, so read this first.

Before you delete

• Teams you own. Ownership cannot be transferred, so a team you own would be left without an owner. Delete those teams first from their settings pages, after cancelling any paid plan on them. See Switching, creating and leaving teams.
• Teams you belong to. Leave them, or simply let deletion remove you. Messages, cards, files and events you added stay in place for the team, but no longer show your name.
• AI assistants. Any assistant connected to your account stops working when the account is gone.

Deleting the account

1. Open your user menu, choose Settings, and scroll to the bottom of the Profile page.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Enter your password to confirm, then choose Delete account again.

You are signed out immediately and the account, your personal team and its project are deleted.
